Whyalla Regional Event

On Sunday,30th April I had the privilege of attending the regional event, organised by Whyalla Junior Association. Sincere

congratulations to Whyalla President, David Sharpe and all the willing volunteer helpers that worked hard to make the day a success. Unfortunately the timing didn’t suit any other Associations except Port Lincoln but the games provided an excellent trial run in preparation for their State Championship squads from both. Toward the end of the day the 2 Presidents discussed the possibility of hosting the same event bi-annually. It was then agreed to carry this out in 2024 at Port Lincoln. To try and attract more entrants it was agreed that an email would be sent to possible Associations and ask them what date would be suitable to ensure it does not clash with other commitments. The proposed Associations to be invited are, Port Pirie, Roxby Downs, Riverland, Yorke Peninsula and of course Whyalla and Port Lincoln.

Finally, once again

Congratulations to David and his willing workers for a successful event, from SAJSA
